"An eye for a bullet"

Films: Silver Bullet (1985)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Forest/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: It's the classic werewolf story. A man possessed by the spirit of the wolf goes around and kills whoever he pleases. But now, the one thing everyone knows can kill them is in short supply...

History: Tarker's Hills, Maine has been subject to several nightly murders. The cause is, in truth, a large werewolf. As the citizenry forms mobs to combat the unseen menace, they go completely unaware that the culprit is Reverend Lester Lowe, who was cursed with lycanthropy a long time ago, and is in constant moral and physical agony because of it.

Notable Kills: Murders a women right before her own suicide attempt.

Final Fate: Lowe's identity as the werewolf is revealed after a paraplegic kid shoots him in the eye with a firework. Much later, Lowe's assault on the kids house ends with him getting shot in the other eye by a silver bullet made specifically to kill him.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: A silver bullet, though conventional means do hurt him.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-This is one violent werewolf. His human identity is sympathetic to a degree, but it doesn't change the fact that many have died horribly because of him.

Trivia: -This film was based off Stephen King's "Cycle of the Werewolf", a collection of short stories about the people menaced and oftentimes killed by Lowe.

-The whole idea of werewolves being killed by silver bullets dates back all the way to stories of the Beast of Gevaudan, which was killed by a hunter named Argent, which is derived from the latin word for "silver".

In essence, moving here was a huge mistake.

Don't forget wolfsbane.

Should have brought something other than a silly looking vehicle.

Remind me again why somebody called this thing the "Peacemaker".
